Terms of Service

Last reviewed: 2026-06-21

This is a lawyer-reviewable draft for selfhosted.directory. By using the site, you agree to use the directory for informational purposes only. The maintainers do not operate, endorse, audit, or warrant the third-party apps listed here.

Content and license

Directory code, original metadata, and original copy are intended to be available under the MIT License unless a repository file states otherwise. Upstream app names, marks, and project licenses belong to their respective owners. A listing does not change an upstream license.

Submissions

Future submissions must be accurate, relevant to self-hosting, and suitable for public review. The maintainers may edit, reject, or remove submissions that are inaccurate, promotional, abusive, or unsafe.

No warranties

The directory is provided as is. Self-hosting software can expose private data, create operational risk, or require security expertise. Review upstream documentation before deploying any app.

Takedown and contact

For corrections, license questions, trademark concerns, or takedown requests, contact contact@selfhosted.directory.
