Stash is a specialized media organizer for private video collections that need metadata, tagging, scene-level organization, and local control. It is useful when a plain folder browser or general media server cannot model the library well.

The tradeoff is specialization and a more involved metadata workflow. Run it behind private authentication, review plugin behavior, and document storage conventions.
